Joe Brennan
Joe is a Chartered Building Surveyor with over 13 years’ experience in the industry.
He started his career at JLL, where he qualified and gained valuable experience across a range of projects and sectors, before setting up Herd in 2017. His vision was to offer clients a more bespoke and personalised approach, something he remains passionate about to this day.
He provides a comprehensive suite of services across all sectors, but has particular experience within higher education, office and industrial property. He frequently works with Listed Buildings and complex multi-tenanted assets, often needing to deliver bespoke and time sensitive solutions for clients.
Whilst always happy to engage in standalone instructions, Joe adds real value forming long-standing relationships with his clients. In doing so he can provide consistent advice from pre-acquisition feasibility, to in use refurbishment and maintenance, through to lettings or disposal.
Chris Quaile
Chris joined Herd in 2024 having spent over 11 years working in the commercial building surveying sector in Bristol covering the South West region.
A Chartered Building Surveyor, he has previously worked for a number of leading national firms, including JLL, Alder King and LSH. During this time, Chris has developed an outstanding reputation for delivering on complex commercial refurbishment schemes, with a particular focus on office and industrial markets.
Chris frequently collaborates with institutional investors, asset managers and occupiers to deliver bespoke technical due diligence and dilapidations advice across standalone and complex multi-asset sites.
Chris joined Herd to continue to provide market-leading advice, but from within a company structure that accommodates a more personalised, client-centric approach.
